My new tank setup!!

Well after all the wait, it is finally up!! It's a 30XH, 14k 250W MH for now.. I'd like to change to 20K eventually... Here are some pics..

Here is a picture of the mother colony of that acan frag! It really is sweet and grows pretty well. The only thing that it doesn't like so far is my Clam, it stung the heck out of a part of it when it fell off the rock I had it on. Oh and they love to eat anything you feed them!

What I meant to say is that the Clam won unlike most cases when the acan kills everything it touches.

I think it is painted on the wood that is actually the side of her stand. It is really awesome to see and makes the stand a nice custom addition. She is an awesome artist!

Yes, Ricky is right, I painted it on the side and then polyurethaned (sp?) the whole stand..

Great job on that. I like it. I love personal touches.

My wife and daughters had a similar idea: They used that plastic "stained glass" stuff to make little fish, mermaids, bubbles, etc. They tought it would be great to put it on the side glass of my tank. I am now stuck with this on my tank. If I take them down it will ruin them.(the lights made them really stuck) With them up, I can't clean the glass, which is a lost cause by now anyway.

Thanks! I'm really happy with the way it turned out.. the only bad thing is, since it's so high, i HAVE to have a tank top on to work in it if i want to get to the bottom. lol Today I had to reach down there andmove a coral because my anenome decided to climb up next to it and cuddle haha
