My new tank

Lighiting will be 3x 250W AC running via PFO HQI ballast. 4x54W T5 overdriven by IC660. ETSS 1000 skimmer, UV, calcium reactor, closed loop power by Hammerhead. Will have sand in the tank as well. I think that is it.

What thickness glass do you have on the tank?

And could you give a closure picture or the holes you drilled for the closed loop...

And the Starphire glass... is it basicly just glass that is really clear or does it being starphire make it stronger then other glasses out there... I am asking because I am in India and products are limited and just wanted to know what the reefing community opinion was exactly on the glass...

Glass but with acrylic attached on the out side.

5/8" for the back, 1/2" for front and sides. bottom is 3/4" I think.

This is the only pic I have, the tank is still in Canada but it is coming soon.

Yes, gives you better clarity on viewing, that is all.

Andrew long time no see when you gonna come down here and check us out. and about time you joined the club i just got my tank back up and running working on the T5 setup now for the tank.
