Hello Reef Central,
First off thanks for such a GREAT and Informative web site for all of Us that are Reef-Aholics. My name is Damon and I live in Central California and I've been browsing and reading this forum for years. I'm fascinated with Marine Aquariums and have always dreamed of having a BIG Tank.

I'd say about 5 years ago I got out of the hobby and since then have been eagerly awaiting my own comeback. Previously I had a 50gl tank but didn't have much luck with it and eventually just gave up. To be honest I was never quite satisfied with the 50 and always dreamed of going BIG. I have waited so long for this dream of mine do to the fact that we rented our house and I wasn't about to take on a HUGE project with not knowing what my immediate plans for home ownership would be. Which now brings me to today.

We are in the process of buying a house now, hopefully within the next few months or so (hopefully no later than March) we will be moving. This house purchase has so far been a pain and we thought we were going to be in our new house in August, but here it is December. Why so long you ask? to make a long story short, we are purchasing from very good friends of ours and they own 2 houses and the house that they want to move into has to undergo a makeover for the fact that it will be a care home for the mentally handicap and everything has to be approved by the State before they will license it as such. So between the home being fixed up (which it pretty much is) and the Great State of California getting off their butts to come and inspect, we are uncertain of our exact move in date.

After all that being said, this thread could drag on or could go forward rather quickly. It's out of our hands from here.

NOW.......... To the good stuff and more on the Positive Side. During all this time I have been piecing my Aquarium together anticipating our move. My tank is 84" x 24" x 24" roughly 210 Gallons, it is reef ready with built in Dual Overflows and is a glass tank.

Here are some pictures of everything I have purchased for the tank ..... Trying to figure this photo thing out. I will try to add them to my gallery.

All the pics are in my gallery now, the only photo I'm missing is the Fuge/Sump which is the ADHI Model 60.

I'm open for any info or questions or critiques, as I'm still learning and have a lot to still learn.
