Hi all,
After many years off in the hobby, I'm planning on jumping back into it with a large mangrove display. I kept mangroves with my reef aquaria back in the 90s with much success and happiness. This time around, I'll probably be going rimless, 6' x 3' footprint, and somewhat shallow (no more than 20 inches tall, allowing for 6" of substrate). Really looking forward to doing this again
All of a sudden, everything is LED (I won't miss the heat and eletricity consumption of 400W halides)! I know jack squat about LED, so I'm considering having a company build a fixture for me with Bridgelux Vero 29 arrays (80 CRI). If you have any thoughts on this aspect of the build, could you please look at my post in the lighting forum? Thanks!!
