My Planned Tank

Hi all.

Im planning on a new tank to replace my BioCube. Its going to be a 45 Gallon Cube (24x24x18), and will be built by ReefSavvy (Felix is an awesome guy).

I wanted to run my stocking plan by you to see what you thought, and maybe some removals/additions:

2x - Ocellaris Clownfish
1x - Green Mandrin (Rainbow Mandrin)
1x - Sixline Wrasse
1x - Diamond Goby
1x - Fire Shrimp
1x - Electric Flame Scallop
1x - Pincushin Urchin (Have)

Not sure what else you guys might suggest, or if anything in there wouldn't be suggested. I do plan on adding the Mandrin & Wrasse later on after I get my Pod population up and running.

I really don't want to sell my current Maroon Clownfish, but I'm afraid she will become to agressive in the new tank and harm the more peaceful fish in there.

Also, I read that the Sixline will eat urchins? If this is true is there another type of wrasse that won't attach my current one?

I'd skip out on the sixline as I've heard some pretty bad stories about them, and I'd hold off on the scallop until the tank matures some.

That size tank is too small for a mandarin AND a sixline. they'll both eat all your pods up, mandarin will probably starve. Sixlines are great, they eat prepared foods. He won't touch your urchin.

I forgot to add - Skip out on the scallop unless you plan on target feeding it every day. They're one of those creatures better left in the ocean as they don't survive in captivity very long.

Thanks guys. I would rather go for a Mandrin as I have had them before and really like their personality. Ill remove the Sixline & Scallop from the list. Would a potters wrasse be ok in the tank, or any other type of wrasse?
