My Poor Shroom

Well i had gotten this fuzzy mushroom when it was about an inche in diamiter. It's been in my tank for a while and it about about 3-4 inches by now. It was doing perfectly but this morning i wake up, and "poof" it had disintegrated over night, just like that. In the place where by big fuzzy shroom once was, now there was a goowy blob. I had to suck it up with a syphon becuase is was almost a liquid really. Any idea what could have caused this?

Possibly brown jelly disease.

The shroom was all my istelf on the side of a rock. There was nothing near it that can possibly sting it. Also my water perameters are fine. Nothing ate it either is just turned into mush. I think it might have been jelly disease. How do corals get this disease?

I lost of bunch of ricordeas to it like almost overnight. They were setting in an area of very low flow. I surmised that the low flow was not enough to keep the corals clean and the bacterial infection eventually set in.

Oh i see. mine was also in almost no flow at all. i guess i did that on purpose since you figure shroom like that. but i guess to little flow is not good at all then.
