My Reef Creations Injectors

Hi,

I have been browsing Reef Central for a long time now but now I decided to post because I need some help. I have purchased 2 beckett injectors housings from MRC and when I installed them on my DIY skimmer I have noticed erratic performace from the injectors. Bubble size is not consistant and there is a lot of erratic turbulance. I used to use mazzie injectors and I find them to be very consistent. As for the beckett anyway I can't get a correct adjustment with the valve supplied. Why do people use becketts if they are such a pain in the a** in the first place?

I own a MRC skimmer. Pics would help but it sounds like your just moving too much air thru them.

Just guessing without pictures also what pump are you using to drive them?

I currently use a blueline 1100 gph pump to run each injector. I tried adjusting the air valve but I have the same problem. I took off the becketts because one of them leaks anyway and Andy is suppose to help me with a replacement but I have not heard from him yet. I replaced them with two mazzies and I noticed I get more air in the skimmer at a more consistent rate. I will try to post pics.
