my reef tank

Killer starfish man. The liverock in your tank is cool with all the pores, holes, and caves that have been created. Oh! ya, what kind of star fish is that if you dont mind?

The starfish is a chocolate chip he isnt suppose to be reef safe but so far hasnt bothered anything... i also have a toby puffer who isnt suppose to be reef safe, he ate most of my crabs and snails and nips at the starfish but leaves my corals alone.

Be careful with the C.C. star.. they liek to eat corals.

Do you clean the coralline off the back, or is it just not growing?

Yea so far the cc. hasnt done any damage just stays on the walls and when he does go on the rocks stays away so alls well...
The coraline is starting to grow but now to the point where i have to scrape it off so hopefully very soon i will have it growing, it does take a while and my tank has only been up for about 6 months.

Zotzer i was looking at the photos of your tank and some of them with the percs had pvc pipe... is that a live structure base you had or is it just for your quarantine tank?

That's just my QT tank....some places for fishies to hide if need be.

The PVC works great for QT tanks.

You can also use PVC and egg crate for aquascaping in your display tank as well. Good for stacking rock
