My Rimless

Mr. Right

So I decided to take some quick pics of my tank. I just recently moved so the tank has been up for about 2mnths. During the move some of my sps were subject to accidental fraging. I also cut back on my coral load and open up my rock layout.

Nice set up!
Your sig doesnt have how many gallons the tank is :\

I was wondering how you did your scaping. The base of the pillar on the right is super duper small! And theres this funnel looking thing too, whats that?

Well it is actually 4 islands. That small base your talking about is just and island. The big structure is supported by pvc and egg under the sand to stand upright alone. It’s a 57 gal rimless illuminata. 20 gal sump, vertex skimmer….60 gal frag tank, 140 gal total volume.

I literally took out 20 + corals because I want a more open look and I also want to wait to let this grow in. While my frag tank is stocked to the brim lol!

I been having some issues with my coloration, my tank is almost too clean. I tested my Nitrates the other day and they were only @ 2, I know people strive to have lower #'s but my tank and my colors look better @ 5 I think. I may be switching to biweekly WC's because my SPS look better when I do that.

I'll have to snap some more pics...I got another table thats really cool.
