My sister bought herself a biocube 8 and I am wondering what upgrades can I do

Ive had larger tanks so I am not too familiar with whats available for a biocube 8. I cant seem to find any protein skimmers available but I figure she might not need one if she is religious about her water changes. She has a nasty cyano outbreak so I am wondering if there's any way to upgrade the pump t get more flow. Any help in the matter would be greatly appreciated since a 90 gallon seems way easier to take care of and find parts for than these nanos

The skimmer made for the biocubes suck! Also they only fit in the 14 and 29.

You are correct, water changes will eliminate the need for one. I think you can upgrade the pump and lights. Nanotuners has some upgrades.

My 3.24 light upgrade from nanotuners should be here tomorrow ( wed ). cant wait to put it in. I seen it in a tank like mine at a LFS. I hope it looks as good in my tank as it did there.

I have a list of mods that I did to my tank. All the mods came from the RC TEAM here. I made the changes & the water looks so awesome it looks fake.
