My skunk clowns have ich I just recently added them to my new saltwater aquarium. the tank has cycled for about 4 months now. I have kept anemones shrimp and crabs in this tank successfuly for about 1 1/2 months now. my plan so far is to raise the temp if the water to 82. my guy at the local fish store said to catch the 2 skunk clowns and give them a fresh water dip. he said to add a little water conditioner/buffer to the freshwater. and then return them to aquarium. I would rather treate the whole aquarium. I have invertabrates in tank so I cant use coppersafe. please help.

FW dips are worthless for ick, don't use copper in your main tank no matter what, treat in a QT tank. Read some of the posts on the disease articles. Hypo and copper are the only methods that are effective. And agreed upon by the community. Good luck!
