My Sump\Fuge Design - which do u think is better? (Pic)

No problem.

50/50 flow but you can cotrol it if you add valves.

As for the bubbles Im still missing two simple pieces of acrylic.

Teeth is to get any fish, chaeto etc from falling in the return area.

Simple, cheap, and it should work.

This simple design will kill the bubbles and no need to silicone 6 baffles.

i'd add one more baffle to the return section so the water flows from under the baffle instead of over. It'll help reduce the chance of getting microbubbles from the waterfall effect of cascading water over that last baffle.

yuhsuen...you're talking about adding one more baffle to the return section on design labeled "A" right?

if so...i think you got a valid point, BUT....i think the downside is that since the pump is right there on the bottom, the water from the last baffle gets sucked right into the pump...so any microbubbles that may have made it to this point will be returned to the aquarium...however...if the water comes from the top, the bubbles have to travel all the way down to the pump which is less likely especially if you have a 90 degree elbow screwed on to the pump.
hope this makes sense..

Sounds good, as long as you have the intake pointed as far away from any source of potential bubbles, you'll reduce the chances of microbubbles. I'd go with a 45degree elbow, less flow restriction :D

well...here it is...went with design "A"
I think it came out pretty good..cant wait to see it in action.

If you worried about flow and your baffle system you can use a Y fitting and distinguish the flow like this.

What did you used to glue the baffles? Is it silicone? It looks very clean if it is...
