My tank at feeding time

Yeah, blonde Naso, about 5 or 6 inches.

I've tried the pellets, he sucked a couple in then just spits them out. So I thought it might be a size thing, so I ground them up so they were about 1/4 size as normal, same deal. I've soaked them in Selcon and garlic, neither made any difference.

I blend up the Spectrum pellets in my meat mix and all my other fish are happy to eat it, but this guy wont touch it, or nori on clips or anything yet... I'm starting to get a little worried he is skinny.

I have had a naso for around 6 months now and had the same problem you had. Wouldn't touch anything for 2 weeks so I had to try live brine(which I feed around every couple weeks anyway for a treat) and he ate it. Then upon suggestion from another reefer on here I tried collard greens you would get from the grocery store. He murdered it. No matter how big a peice I put in he would eat the whole thing until his belly was bulging. He never really took to sheets of dried seaweed and to this day only nibbles at it but Whoa baby on the collard greens. I feed it everyday because my other tangs also like it and it is way more nutritional then romaine. He also took to formula 2 flakes for the first few months. Don't know why but he just loved it.

Now he eats everything that I put in the tank at feeding time(shrimp, squid, frozen formula 2, emerald entree, plankton-you name it) so there is hope. He has also grown so fast he is outgrowning my 4 year old sailfin and even my sailfin has started to grow more from the collard greens.

What happened to your naso. Is everything cool?
Yep, everything is going good now. He finally slowly started eating and now he is pretty piggish. My B/Fs and Purple tang are still the king pigs of the tank, but the Naso is doing good too.

He eats nori very well and still hasnt quite made up his mind about my frozen concoction of marine meats and formula two, but he is eating a couple bites of it every time I put it in, so I think he will eventually come around fully. Every other fish in the tank pigs out on the stuff.

Yeah, I'll try to get some goatfish video. It is turning a really nice orange color on top, getting even more vibrant with good feeding and water quality. I'm really glad I got him, something you dont see in many tanks.

Hey Recty, nice fish selection once again, but I have another question if you dont mind. Would you say your Golden B/F are hardy? Did they ever aquire a disease while in QT, if so what did you treat with?

Sorry for all the questions, I found one available and your the only person I know one here that has them!

ONce again thanks
