At the risk of being redundant, here's the FTS

'preciate the kind words. I had little better to do today than snap some pics, enjoy my tanks and take a walk in the snow. I've got some pizza dough rising. The wife and I will have a little wine and beer and home made pizza and watch a few episodes of Lost tonight. We're near the end of season two. It's been a great snow day so far....Except to learn of the loss of others. I can't imagine how badly I would feel to lose my tank.

Anyways. I am really looking forward to the frag swap this year. I've reserved a few corals through frag swapper. Most of the stuff will go into my cube (if not all of it). Given a few months after that, it, too, might be worth posting. :)

Cheers,
Ben

Hey looking good. Lots of new growth and additions since I was there 1 year or so ago!
I'm excited about my next diabolical wife-angering plans...adding a 300g sump, 100 fuge (both rubbermaid) and a new skimmer (thats the plan anyway). All I have to do is find all the stuff I need (the tanks are pending). There goes another tax return!
I plan to get a reeflo pump (along with my dart I should be good). I'm going to add SW to the system slowly over a period of weeks/months by plumping both the 100 and the 300 tanks, filling the 100 1st about 20-30 g a week and increasing until I get the system full. Like W/C's only no water removal, only water addition. Thats the plan...

...unless there are better thoughts out there (on the set-up and water addition, heck any ideas). I'm all ears (full of snow). No hijaking threads here, no. Can you mix SW from snow? If so I can have it full by sundown...anyone have some heaters (LOL, NOT).

Brad,

Before I left on vacation.
I added 100 gallon sump to my 90 and 75 in one loop.
Worked out to about 70 gallons of NSW. Did it in one fell swoop.
Only change was corals went nuts with polyp extension.
I did however make sure that each of the two or so batches were at the exact temp of the two tanks and I used Kalk powder and test kit to get the pH dead on before I added and fired it all up together.

PS...my apology in advance to the self imposed forum topic cop for not staying on topic. ;)

Ben,

tank looks healthy.

Wife and I did the prochutto and bresaola and shiraz bit on Friday and after digging and digging and digging some more....last night did the ginger glazed catfish with heavy dill kicked asian veggies with pistachios and more wine. Our winter shut in meal...lol.
