I just recently returned from a trip to Cali and Scripp's. Pictures do not do some of the exhibits justice. Would not you agree?

My wife and I almost made the trip on Tuesday, but we never quite made it. Haven't been in a couple years. It used to be very cutting edge in their animal husbandry. I assume it still is.

...I have some great pics from the Seahorse show they had up last summer.

I totally love that tidepool exhibit they have on their outside terrace. I wasn't really that impressed with what was in it per se, but the whole thing overall just really held my attention.

The entire time I was looking at it I couldn't help but think... "If I just had a bigger patio...."

I hear you...my husband keeps saying that he wants a pool converted into a shark tank-but that outdoor tide pool is a little more on the realistic side. Luckily for both of us I have “The Sickness” worse than he does and am just striving for a 300 gallon drilled through the wall set-up with a fish room When we go to Birches we do spend quite a long time just hanging around that out door tide pool.
