hi everybody,
My zoos seems to grow very slowly. Does anybody know the reason for the slow growth and any additvie to increase its growth?
Thanks

i'm new to zoo's, too, so don't take this to heart. someone told me a rule of thumb is: the more colorful they are, the slower they grow. i've also read on here some guys with orange envy only get about 1 polyp per year. like i said, i might be wrong, but thats what i've been told. what do you have?

my zoos have spells where they will put out 5 to 10 new heads at a time and then stop for a month or so and then start again.

keep everything stable and they grow so fast you will start to wonder how to get rid of them.

There isn't a rule of thumb for zoa's. They grow differently. Not just from one morph to another. But from one morph in one tank to another tank. The color thing doesn't matter. Just matters what the zoa's feel they need to do. If they're happy i'd imagine you'd get a million. but maybe not. I have two clusters of the same zoa's on the same rock that are seperated. The ones on the right don't grow. While the ones on the left grow like mad.
