mysis shrimp

I bought one of those cheap hand blenders at the bx and puree my own food for coral using the mysis shrimp you can get at any local fishing shop. That would be the way to go if you want to save money. You get about 1kg for $350

Save money is right up my alley. Any recomendations for a fishing shop? Do they know "mysis shrimp". Do I blend them to a pulp? Do I freeze them right after? Is it going to smell my house up to high hell :)?

Thanks in advance

im going to start to make my own food sometime soon.
i always say it, but never do it. dang. its stupid cheap to make your own food out here also. FWIW, PPM has phytoplankton that you could throw in there also.

Any fishing shop will have the big frozen blocks of it and yes you will stink up your house. But the smell will go away after an hour or so. With the shrimp block, you dont need to do anything except cut a small chunk off, thaw it and feed away.
