Mystery Arm

Ok, while I was adding some new peppermint shrimp to my tank, I noticed that there was an arm coming out from the rock.

I assume it's a starfish, and maybe a serpent at that? (a guess?)

I'm not sure what it is, but it is tan with black stripes, and had a pointed end. (no head or anything like a worm)

But all I could see was one (assuming theres more) arm, so who knows.

Heres the picture:

Should I be worried about this (starfish)? Is it a threat? Or just another cool free critter.

mini serpent stars are usually good detrivors...
