Mystery Wrasse=Mystery Lump

Our mystery wrasse is developing a lump under the skin on the right side of the top of his head. Any ideas what it could be? A tumor? It seems to be growing by the day, and now the scales are starting to lift slightly.

He's an awesome fish, and we would hate to see him die. I tried to take a pic, but it's hard to get a good angle.

hmmm, could be a tumor. If it opens it could be HTH(hole-in-the-head). Just keep an eye on it.

Sorry for your tumor but it is nice for me to FINALLY hear of someone else having this issue. My mystery got one above its eyeball. It will continue to grow. Mine got the size of a small marbel. It didn't seem to affect the fish at all but did eventually cause his death after a year of having the tumor. I wanted to do a NECROPSY but couldn't find the carcass.
Should be fine for a while,
