nano cube evaporation rates

I just set up my new nano cube 6 and have experienced really no evaporation in 3 days. The total evaporation in 3 days has been about 9 oz? This is in the Midwest winter air that usually sucks up water quickly! Is this unusual, i do have the full hood on it and it seems to seal pretty tight. Although i am worried it may be to tight and give me PH problems.

It's been a while since I last tested it, I'll try to do it tonight. Every time I have ever tested it it has been fine so I haven't really thought of testing it within the last few weeks.

Found an old post in which I recorded my PH, it's from January 17

Ph- 8.1 or 8.3 (Couldn't tell which blue it was but it was one of these)

That was the last time I tested it.

I have a 24 and am just a little south of you, same here, almost zero evaporation.

Really? My nano gives out from 15-25 fl. ounces a day. Not a lot, but still a little bit.

Ph level stays contant from 8.07 - 8.21. As you can see I still dont get it right all the time with the buffer. Currently is stands at 8.09:D

don't know the exact rates of evap on my 10g nano since i have an ATO hookedup to keep salinity fairly constant. but if i had to guess, i'd say i evaporate 2-3 gallons/week, sometimes more. i'm also running it open top with an Odyssea 175w HQI 10k bulb with 2x18 w of PC actinics and 2 LED moonlights.

I've only had my tank up and running for about 2.5 weeks now and I'm experiencing about 3 gallons a week of evaporation from my 30 gallon tank with a 10 gallon sump.
