nano cube mod

Has anyone drilled their nano cube and added a sump? I like the look of the cube, but want to have a large refugium. Any thoughts?

I would imagine its not been done too many times. If you are wanting to add a sump, why not just get a different tank and get it drilled for a sump? You will save a lot of money. The whole purpose of the nanocube, is that is entirely contained in that one box.

Sorry, I'm not really helpful, but in my opinion, if you want a sump, you should get another tank and get it drilled, or even get a custom builder to make you one already drilled.

I like the look of the nano cubes. Any thing look like a nano but easier to drill?

This is what i am planning for mine i have had it setup for about a year now but i am going to be drilling a hole in the top and running a pump to a 20gal tank that will be a sump/fuge and having it gravity fed back to the tank. i have built my own custom stand though with a shelf up top for sump/fuge and tank in middle.

Its been done a few times. Ask over on nano-reef.com and you should get an answer from someone that has done it. I only know personally of one that was drilled and it cracked.
