Nano Question - Need Advice

Do some further research on the Nano's (all brands). Most all that I've seen with MH mods have significant heat issues.

I have a Biocube 29 and the stock lighting is fine for LPS & fish, and I have a Rock Flower Anemone too. Wouldn't try any SPS with it, but it's a great tank for a smaller one.

Keeping the water stable is simply a matter of a weekly water change with a good water mix, not overloading it and having a decent filter or amount of liverock, like any other system...

I went today and saw 2 of the Current USA systems. One Solana and one Cariff? It is the 24g rounded front. I liked that one. I say the 29 gal and 14 gal Biocube...it is cool, but it does not come with a skimmer.

Since it is an AIO, I am trying to not use a sump. I thought about a ZeroEdge, but those seem like a nightmare. I like the Solana, but with an open top and pendant, I am curious if it might be too much light sitting in the chair next to the tank. Hmmm....

Ahh, I see. I have never used an AIO, so used to having to think about sump space.

As for the light spill over, I would think that would really depend on the height of your chair and the height of the light. Your eyes can be a bit below the fixture, but too far below it and you will be seeing spots the rest of the day. ;)

Not sure if they make them small enough but I know that the new Hamilton lights have little pieces of metal/plastic that extend below the fixture to help with that.
