Nano Ric Tank

Why not just post the ric tank pictures here in the mushrooms forum? The first page is just a tank build thread, and I closed it before seeing how much more digging it would take to see pictures of mushrooms.

Yes, impatience, what was I thinking expecting mushroom pictures that didn't come with 40 clicks to get to them...

Nice rics though! And how do you like the neon goby? Is it tank raised? I've been waiting for LiveAquaria to get them in stock but they never seem to pop up :(

Thread title "Nano Ric Tank" not "ric pics", sorry to disappoint you, enough said.

Thanks for the complement! Started the nano with one polyp of each and all have split and spread a little. Goal is to one day not see any rock!

The neon is wild caught in the Caribbean (just like the rics) and a real character. Very skittish at first but he settled in after about a week:)

Typical temp and salinity acclimation routine over a period of about an hour was all I did.
Ate prime reef flake the first time it was presented, also eats the usual meaty foods like (San Fransisco Bay) frozen cubes of mysis, krill, cyclops, etc. IMHO, easy to care for :D

Nice, are they peaceful? I have three trimma gobies that top out at about 1.5" and wanted to get 3-4 of the neon ones, back to the liveaquaria waiting game :)

Sometimes too peaceful, mine perches in the same location (see pic) so often, I can't keep a ric frag there without him pushing it around :lmao: I wish mine was a more active swimmer:fish2:

It's my understanding (no actual experience) that 3-4 neons will not get along with each other unless your tank is large enough that they can all stake their own territory. Heck, even two neon gobys will be aggressive toward one another unless they are a mated pair, or so the story goes, your mileage may vary. Good luck :D
