Natural predators in reef tank

even with wrasses it is hit and miss. Most report that their wrasses will eat the AEFWs when they are floating in the water column, IE: after they have been turkey baster blasted off the rock and corals. Only a few have reported their wrasses actively hunting the flat worms on their corals. But those with a heavy stocking of wrasses seem to have less occurrence of AEFWs and/or AEFW damage.

What I have notice is that most fish will eat the AEFWs when they are floating in the water column. The only other fish that I have seen that is actively hunting the flat AEFW on the corals is the Raccoon Butterfly fish.
