Yes peeps,volunteering countless hours to make it better for our natural Reefs and educating the public of its importance is hard work.Going to the events that the society puts on is the reward.So if you have time and energy and enjoy the events,well you know the rest.

Its not all fun and the pay sucks.actually there is no pay to be crystal clear .The only reward is knowing you did something for the better of the animals and others.The act of giving.very novel idea

Thanks Joe.I was starting to think no one cared if we even have a Reef society here in PA anymore.I hope the members can be more active in the nominations and the election process of the Board in the future.I hear suggestions from some on how the society should conduct business and its future direction but I do not see anyone stepping up to volunteer the thought process and work that gets it done.Here is your chance people to get things done in a way that may suit you better.Nominate yourself or someone else for a position(you may just find there is no one running against you)

I nominate Trent(dingo) for a position to be announced.He wants to be on the BOD and is ready to volunteer his time wherever it is best utilized.

I know personally I care very much about the society but know the amount of time it takes to run it. I don't feel the need to make any changes so IMO until somebody on the current board declares that they absolutely cannot continue I'm working the "if it ain't broke" angle.

I have nothing but respect for the people doing the actual legwork on the board...I feel your pain (I've FELT your pain!). :headwally:
