I just bought mine from autotopoff.com. It's basically just a solenoid, which is on for a few hours a week, then i have that running to a float valve inside a rubbermaid tub. From there the aqualifter does the topping off. It only cost me about $50 all together, well then theres the deltec stirrer in between that cost a little more.

Sounds very similar to mine, but I chainlinked two electric float switches together in case one gets stuck. Already saved me once.
