Need a Co2 tank ASAP

Hey guys,

Looks like the clowns over at Ozarc in Arnold gave me a almost empty replacement tank. They 1st destroy my regulator and nice new tank by overfilling the tank, then they refuse to replace the regulator and the only thing they are willing to do is to give me a "new" (beat to crap) tank. Now the POS tank they gave me is empty again. Ofcause it's the weekend, again!

Does anyone have a 5lb tank? I need to have a replacement in the house. Not having one is simply not an option any more.

If you have a buddy that can fill a tank over the weekend please hook me up.

If I kill any more coral I may as well pull the plug.

Thanks,

Ben

Why is it life or death that you get CO2? If it is for a calcium reactor I can't imagine your tank falling apart because you aren't running a reactor for a few days. Or just dose a little two part while you are waiting. In fact it's good to have some two part on hand to raise or lower Ca/alk as needed since the reactor should only be used to maintain not raise levels.

Last time I let this hapen in only 2 days my tank went from 9 dKH to 7ish. The whole tank lost color. I lost a ton of colonies and frags. My guess is my sps to water volume ratio is small. I had a lot of sticks. I just don't want to chance it any more.

Bad luck indeed! I've been going to Ozarc since 2002 and never had a problem, but I use my personal CO2 tanks and never the rentals. Also, it's not an emergency like Mike said.

Mike hooked me up with a 5# tank. I'll fill my old one on Monday and keep it as a backup until this one runs out. Then I'll fill the new tank and keep it as a backup. Hopefully I won't have to freak out about this any more.

Thanks to everyone who offered help and advice and a special thank you to Mike!

It would be easier with the acrylic I need to get the sump done and plumbed. .:blown::headwalls:

Translation from Pife-Speak:

I will buy 8-9 more tanks before I create the sump of my dreams, then I will upgrade to a different tank.

Glad things finally worked out for you. You've had a beck of a time with those CO2 tanks.

Hey Nick (oshanickreef) thanks for passing on that tank and letting me have it! I owe you a 1/4" frag of something haha
