The first one i belive is bubble algea, i have read about how to deal with it. Just wondering if it really was bubble algea?

Does anyone know what kinna feather duster this is?

Ok this started growing when i got my new light anyone know what this is?

yes, it is bubble algae.

not sure what type of feather duster.

+1 on above. those green star polyps may look nice now, but make sure they can't spread onto adjoining rocks or you'll have a GSP forest.

The "GSP" looks a lot like a small colony of Pipeorgan that I have... might be that, would be a great freebie

First one is bubble algea...You can try to pluck it off ( slowly ) You dont want to pop it or you can get all the spores spreading & spread through the tank.

I have plucked them of before.....just be carefull. I also used a turkey baster at the point of plucking just incase it poped....I can suck up as much as I can.

NOW....if you only have 1 bubble........Get a few Emerald Crabs......75 Gal..........get 2 or 3.......These guys are the only dudes that eat bubble algea. But if you are over feeding the tank. They will have other food to eat & dont need the bubble algea to eat.
