Need a large water container quick

I'm going away on vaca in a few days and I need at least a 10gallon container for top off. I have a tunze Osmolator in a 5 gallon bucket that gives me about a week and a half.

most stores that carry hunting/camping equipment should carry water storage containers. I bought a 20g blue one at Sportsman's Wherehouse not too long ago. I had to cut out the hole to fit a MJ in there but it's perfect. Cost about 20bux. Other than that I'd call water stores and see if they have any other containers... the type of store where you can fill up your own 5g jugs, they might have bigger ones.

OR you could go buy a 32g BRUTE container from Lowes, perfectly reef safe, holds more water, only costs about 20-30 bux depending on where you get it, and you can buy rollers for them so you can wheel it from your ro/di unit to your tank. hth

Home depot carries 20 gallon grey Brute trash cans for $20.00 with lid. They're food safe & great for water storage. No bowing with these cans as long as the lid is kept on.

I ended up getting a 18 gallon tote from HD. I will fill it about 3/4 of the way, should work great, it's pretty heavy duty. Thanks for everyones help.

I got an ice chest from Igloo and it holds 15 gallons. Its called an "Ice Cube" Cost under $20 I think at walmart and its on wheels. I use mine for water changes. Pretty Small, I used 2 5g buckets and got tired of mixing in seperate containers and testing them serperatly as well so this is a perfect substitute.

Says right on the front that they are food safe materials as well so no worries there.

I was in the same ballpark as you and this is that best solution I have seen.

Good Luck.....
