Need advice/help for moving

Ok getting ready to move and wanted to know if there was a place in or around St Louis that would have something I could use to help move a 220 gallon tank.

I have talked to some movers but they all want it boxed up in a crate which is not an option as the additional space taken up by the crating will be wider then the door I must go through. I think the best I could find was an additional 4 inches on each side of the tank so I would be short by a lot.

Any place one can rent like a mechanical lift taht would be much easier then lifting carrying the tank in and out of the new and old place?

If you can build a pallet for the tank, you can rent a Dingo and use that to move it. The smaller one will fit through a 36" opening. The pallet can have the same footprint as the tank and just needs to be strong enough to lift from the end without flexing. Of course, the cost of the Dingo will pay for a lot of beer and pizza.
