Need advice on raising my Mg

I have a 95 gallon tank with a 25 gallon refugium. I'm estimating that I have about 90-100 gallons of water volume. I've been dosing 2 parts CA and Alk from BRS,but haven't dosed MG much. I do weekly 15-20 gallon water changes of Reef Crystals.

I tested my water today and noticed my MG is only at 1,200. I went to the BRS website and to raise it from 1,200 to 1,350 it's recommending 1,088 ml of their MG solution. Does that sound right? Seems like a lot to have to dose. What are your thoughts?

My parameters are
SG: 1.026
CA: 450-470
Alk: 9.5
Ph: 8.0-8.2
Haven't tested for nitrates, nitrites, or phosphates.

It's a mixed reef with chalices, zoas, lps, and sps. The system is still getting used to the 20 frags of sps I added a month ago. Appreciate the input on the best way to increase my mag without swingin my other parameters.

Just add it over the course of 3 or 4 days. Like 250 to 300 ml per day. It might raise your sg a little, but not enough to worry about. Or if you use an ato, add all of it to the top off container and it will add it slowly

if you put it in the calculator on their site, it is probably right. i think when i started 2 part i had to put in a bunch of Mg. but once you get Mg stable it doesn't really move much. only dose it again when your alk and Ca jug is used.

The sps frags I got from you are all doing pretty well. The only one out of the 22 I got from you that has had issues is the pink lemonade. Everything else is growing, but you were right about watching the alk. It's taken me a few weeks to figure out how much I need to dose.

Thanks, that's the last thing I want to do. I dosed 300 ml and will test it in the morning to see where it's at. I've been watching the tank and dosed throughout the day, so hope I won't shock it. I'll just add 250ml over the course of the next 3 days.
