Need advice

Hi all
I am dealing with two problems in the last couple months,
The first :
I cant get rid off the green algae in my tank and sand.
The second :
I moved one of my LR and found out that my LS is all black.
Can you please advice me how to solve those problems.
All of my reading are ok,
45 tank,40 pound LR, 20 pound LS, 4-5 snails, 2-3 blue leg, 1 shrimp, remora c, 3 power heads, T5.

Sounds like you have a lack of flow problem. Can you tell us how many GPH you have as turnover in the display? Also, what are your nitrate and phosphates reading?

Dark stuff sounds like cyano try some phosphate remover and add some more flow.

I had the same problem with a corner that wasn't getting any flow. I just stirred up the sand a bit then directed flow to that area and its been cyano free.

i have 3 900 jet power heads in the tank, and nitrat and phospat are 0.

Can you advice me about wiche power heads to get and how many?
I have 45 gallon tank.
