I'd like to say thank for everyone in advance for your input and thoughts. Well I'm starting a new 340 gal tank that I just ordered from my LFS. The size will be 88" x 30" x 30" with a center overflow box. All I'm growing are softies so I don't need a lot of light. I really need help in the selection of the equipment. Here are the list of things I thought I would work best, but any advice would be most appreciated.

340 Gal Tank 88" x 30" x 30"
150 Gal Sump 60" x 24" x 24"
2 x 65W PC & 4 x 96W PC / Thinking about upgrading to T5's
Ice Cap fans 4" x 4 Units to be installed in the canopy
2 fans going in 2 fans going out.
Main Pump Dolphin Aqua Sea AMP Master 5600/4700
Power Head Tunze Turbelle Stream 6060 x 2
ASM G4x w/recircular mod
JBJ 1/3 HP Chiller

Any suggestions or comments would be great. I will be posting pictures as soon as it arrives. Thanks everyone for looking.

Have you thought about a Skimmer and refugium? What about a return such as Sea Swirl or Water current such as Wave maker 2K

By the way execllent choice in Chiller. I just bought the 1/5HP for my 180g and its awsome!

Don't know if I can incorportate the Sea Swirl since the returns are already done. I total jock the Wave maker 2K. That looks really cool. How much does one of those cost or do I need 2 to run the wave motions?

ditch the PC' and get T5's or MH
Can you make your canopy open top?
i would get Tunze 6200's
Get a better skimmer thats almost 500 gallons of water

So here it is my new tank

I haven't decided how to plumb it yet, but I decided that I might ditch the PC lights, but this tank setup has already costed me a fortune.

Actually I made a few changes which I will post in a few days.

1. Sump is now 78" x 24" x 24", approximately 200 Gallons
2. Main Pump is a Sequence Reeflo Hammerhead 5800 GPH
3. 250W x 3 Metal halide (When I can afford it)

Other items will be the same for now. Any input would be nice and appreciated. Thanks all for looking.

The one pic looks like a desk. So far looks like a good setup. I'm currently getting supplies for my 300. I elected not to have powerheads in the tank. I went with an Oceans Motions 4 way that will be divided into an 8 way with plumbing. A nice little device that will save a few watts for water movement (prob less than the 2 Tunze's you want). Check them out http://www.oceansmotions.com This would be good for your return or plumbed as a closed loop. You may want to check if your return pump will work though. You'll want water movement thru this thing, enough to make up for the tunze's.

hahahaha looks like a desk? I don't think it looks like a desk. Once I'm done with it, it should look like a masterpiece. I'm in the process of curing the rocks right now so i'll post more pictures when i have the time.

I went with the closed loop option with a Om 4way. That way you dont have to worry about hiding the powerheads, and the suction plugging up. I also went with 250 DE pendants with the phoenix 14k bulb, great for overall color and growth, but the major plus is that actincs really are not needed with that bulb. I also went with a 1/2 horse pacific coast chiller, since ill have close to 500 gallons of water to chill.
