Hey all! Quick update... Finally got my 20000k's installed that I've been wanting... found a pair of XM 250w's that I just couldn't pass up. Thanks to ezdive (Robert), who has a beautiful tank, and great hospitality. Thanks for helping me along my quest for a more beautiful tank. Whelp, next phase is to move the refugium down below the tank, so I'm going to need an overflow. I'll also need a sump/fuge, preferably acrylic, preferably used (cost wise, anyway). I can fix most anything acrylic related. A small crack or chip is okay, odd holes are okay... just need a sump. The size I am looking for is around 24" long by 12" wide by around 20" tall. Anything close, please pm me.

Chris,i found one for you to(on my porch for free)if your interested.send me your email address and i'll send you a pic of it.

Got your email... tried to answer by email but wouldn't go through. The sump you sent me pics of is not what I was looking for, but thanks. The best of all worlds would simply be an old acrylic tank, like a 29 gallon. Doesn't matter if it has an overflow or drilled, I'll take care of that right quick. Best if it holds water, but not completely necessary.

What kind of overflow are you looking for? I have a spare that was a bit too big for my 15, I think it's rated at 300gph (one outlet). It's a Hurricane model that I purchased off of eBay a while back. Never used it, but stepped on it once and had to patch a crack, but it's fully functional.

I have a CPR overflow rated for 1600GPH Brand new in the box, never used for $90 shipped. All it needs is an aqualifter pump which is like 10bucks. IMO, by far the best overflow you can get if your not going to drill. Here is a link:

I also have an acrylic wetdry filter that got cracked in shipping. I fixed it with acrylic glue and it works perfect with no leaks. It's one of the larger ones rated for 350-450gal so it should be big enough for you. Ill take $40 + shipping but I would need your zip to figure out how much shipping is. PM me if your interested b/c I don't stop in this forum very much. :)

Nanokat, if you could bring it to the next meeting I'd love to see it... I have a line on another "new" one for around 35 bucks, so I may just do that. I'll let you know.

Stoney, the overflow, which I'm sure is worth the money, is alot more than I had to spend. The wet/dry, however, is the right price, but I need dimensions. I'll pm you as well.

Ill have to measure it when I get home but ill PM you tonight. It's either 27x12x18 or 35x15x18. Comes with bioballs and 1 1/4"ID 36"hose if you want them. I know some use filterbags instead of the balls so if your not going to use them, it might save you on the shipping end. :)

No prob about the overflow, I know there pricey. :)

I have one of those external overflows that hang off the back. Its in mint condition. I can take a pic of it tonight if your interested.

I got an overflow and sump tonight... great prices. FYI, Mark at Reef's Edge has some really nice slightly used overflows for around $35, and a 24" wide tank (acrylic) with black acrylic back and corner overflow for around $65. He's turned his other warehouse into a used equipment warehouse.

Actually, upon a little investigation, I think the one I have is a 600gph model. Here's a photo from the manufacturers website:

I can trade for some of your nice goodies...shrooms, zoos, etc, if you want. I'll bring it to the meeting, or we can meet sometime before. Randy & I want to check out that screen patio place down there around you sometime soon.
