Need Calerpa in Coralville/Iowa City

I just purchased a fish that is crazy about calerpa. The problem is that I don't have any. I would be willing to take or buy some off someones hands. I really need it soon because I want him to start eating right away. Feel free to private me or email me at pianoartist@mac.com

Thanks a bunch!

Just curious, for the tank or sump? I had grape in my 75 and wish I hadn't. Took over and ruined my reef. If you ever want to convert to a reef you may regret putting in your tank.

Just my 2¢.

Do you mean you have nothing else to feed this fish?! What kind of fish did you get? If it's a tang or a type of fish that is mainly a vegatarian, it should eat dried seaweed/algae and be just fine.

I actually got a tang that particularly likes that. He will eat some other things, but he is a big fish and I think it would be pretty safe that he will eat up a lot of caulerpa. The previous owner suggested I give him some to help him acclimate to the new tank, but I just don't have any.

If nothing else, you could get nori from walmart and a vegi clip from a petstore. Nori is used to wrap sushi and can be found in the oriental food area of the supermarket. You want the stuff without any added flavors or spices. I got the stuff call sushi party for my new tang. He loves it. 20 sheets for $2.

Wow! That's cheaper than the stuff I'm using right now. I'll have to check that out. He doesn't seem to be as interested in Nori or Red algae, but I'm still trying to keep it in the tank in case he changes his mind.
