I just upgraded to an Elos System 70 and converted my 9010 skimmer to hang with magnet. I changed out the suction cup lid on the bottom of the skimmer to the one with the open slots and pulled the Output tube and plugged output whole with supplied cap as instructions say. But it has now been 1 week and skimmer still not producing anything in the skimmer cup.
Did I do something wrong? I did not close the sliding door on the side where I pulled the output tube (as picture shows in the manual).
Am I missing something? Water level seems fine and actually in this new sump I think it's about a couple of inches below the blue water level line on the side of the skimmer where my previous sump the water level was lower.
I also opened the blue breather screw almost full and no go.
Anyone please direct me on their utilization of the magnet holders and setup they experienced while converting the bottom lid? I really need to skim since I am concerned that my corals and fishies might be suffering.
