Need FLOW advice for a CUBE!

INTRO:
SO first things first i have a reefer 170 aka 34g display, 9 gallon sump.

I have a mp10qd for flow on the side of the tank about 5 ish inches from tippy top of the water.

Originally I had a sicce 3.0 return pump blasting out of a splitter to both corners of my tank. This created a good amount of flow. But then I added a chiller on the same line. which knocked my gph from my return pump down considerably.

EXTRA INFO YOU CAN SKIP:
Then my hammer coral lost its flow from the return and started to instantly shrink and looks like it's blazing a path to its own grave. I turned up my flow from my pump and moved the hammer more towards the front center where there was some better flow, but then realized even my birdsnest is now starting to give me the staunchest of middle finger, while my toadstool still looks like a heaping trash fire getting randomly assaulted by the super linear flow of my mp10.

IN CONCLUSION:
I have seen people use two pumps and put them on opposite sides of the backwall. One is placed high and the other low, pointed at the front pane of glass. I was thinking this might solve all my issues and was wondering what pump you guys suggest for this. Basically, something cheap that won't burn my house down would be nice? I really don't want to shell out another 200 some odd dollars for another pump.

OR

If it would be better just to put my chiller on a separate pump and bring back the over powered flow of my return pump?!

I DONT KNOW!

Thanks if you read all that. Double thanks if you have an opinion or suggestion! WOOHOO!

Well, if you don't use the chiller 365 days and the tank was doing fine, there's the simple fix; separate pump.
BTW I don't think your tank is in the grounds of being a cube...

Tunze 6025 worked great in my cube. It is silent, affordable, excellent quality.

i have a tunze 6040 pump, like new w/ original box and everything $100. Has it's own controller too! It'll give you what you need.
