A masked parasite, as a low level of copper will do, usually shows up about 3-4 weeks after the fish is in "clean" water without copper.

A masked parasite, as a low level of copper will do, usually shows up about 3-4 weeks after the fish is in "clean" water without copper.
My recommendation is tank transfer to eliminate ich followed by an absolute minimum of 4 weeks observation in a quarantine tank. Then treat whatever is found as appropriate.

So treatment is finished. Lost the pair of clowns, purp dotty, royal gram, kole tang, and seaweed blenny - at least that parts over. The remaining fish, redhead salon wrasse, 6-line, pair of cards and watchman gobie are all great, never showed any signs of being sick but they were treated anyways. I have another system that has been fallow for months, would it be ok to move them to this system to give them more room and to save salt lol, this hasn't been cheap!

Added the remaining fish to my other system, it's about 120g with everything they need in it. It's been fallow for months. All that is in there are inverts and my urchins which spawn from time to time, the little guys give me a little credit at one of the lfs's here when they are big enough. I've looked but can't find exactly how the TTM should be done, so if someone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. Also, what exactly should I use for prophylactic treatment. Everyone has different opinions but what meds do most people use. Thanks in advance.
Here is a place to start.
TTM eliminates ich as a possibility. However, as written, it will only eliminate ich.
