When was the last fish added to this tank?

Last Friday. He is the last fish I added. I had a pair. I lost the female. He is in qt. I tried malachet green and formalin. And a freshwater dip. Does not seem to help.

The redness indicates that there's probably a bacterial infection. Get out your broad spectrum antibiotics. I'd do the treatment in another tank to preserve your biofilter. Usually when this stuff happens, I treat for 24hr in a separate tank with a broad spectrum antibiotic. You can also see if you can find some antibiotic food, or soak food in antibiotics. That's a better way to treat the fish without completely destroying your filter.
