Here's the new thread about my light mod. To refresh you. I have a 48" JBJ triple fan cooled 220 watt PC fixture. It was my 1st adventure in better lighting. It's about 3 years old. It works great. I'm using those Coralife HQI units and this JBJ is just collecting dust! The PC ballast are running 4x55 watt bulbs. Can I mod this unit to T5's? If so, can you explain in detail how I would do it. I really would like to get the most out of this unit. Don't really want to sell it. Do you think I may have to gut the unit and get a T5 retro kit? if so, what kit is best? Also, what combination of T5 bulbs would I need?
