Anyone seal the bottom of the wall for their in wall set up? What did you use?

Do you mean the drywall? Mud over all the screws/nails, use a good primer, texture if you want, and use a good quality latex paint.

No, more where the drywall meets the concrete. In case of a leak I was wondering if there was something I could seal it with that may just buy me some extra time to clean it up before it made it's way under and into the wall. Thanks all the same for your reply.

I would use a good quality silicone caul just like in your tank seals. it will stick to clean concrete and dust free drywall 'cept you can't paint it. use white and paint white!?

The really only true way would be to baseboard it with that pvc based material. Then use a good silicone caulk and seam it across the floor.

The best way would be to pour a cement barrier around the room :)

Regular wood will help some but water will just soak through that as well. If you do it right, I wouldn't worry about the extra expense but it's up to you.
