Need Help Identifying This

I was out of the hobby for a few years and had this one other time but I forgot how I got rid of it as well as what it is even called. I don’t have any corals so it’s not exactly a problem yet but I do plan to get some in the future

Looks to be the end of a vermetid snail (there’s usually a swirly base). Generally harmless but they can be invasive and their feeding webs can irritate corals.

Yep, this. I used super glue gel when they started reproducing too much in my tank. Inserted the tip of the gel applicator into their shell opening and sealed them shut.
