Hello all,
i noticed this anemone, or maybe polyp, growing on the bottom side of my coast to coast overflow yesterday. it is a couple of inches long and behind my fine finger leather at the top center of the picture.
Please let me know if it is a polyp or another Aptasia I need to deal with swiftly.
I didn't immediately feel it is Aptasia as I have found they have shorter tentacles and are usually tan to brown in color. Could be the light passing through the glass. It might be important know I have 3 X 250 watt metal halided and 4 T5s with aquablue + and actinic bulbs over the tank.
Any help with the identification is appreciated.
Thank you,
Chris
