Need help w 2 LPS!!

Hey everyone, I need a little help I have a pink bubble coral that isnt opening up, I've moved it around, more light, less light, more flow, less flow and nothing. I also have a moon brain that doesnt seem as bright as before. Any one have any Ideas? Thank you!!

test your water and give it some time to adapt. it does well under moderate flow and moderate to strong light.

Water params are perfect and I think their in good flow. Im switching to Koralia from rio 800. Maybe that should help!

What does "water params are perfect" mean??? Can you post your actual numbers for us and a little more about your tank?

Ammonia 0
Nitrates 0
Nitrites 0
PH 8.2

currently these are the water parameters. they're usually around these numbers. I do a 6gal water change every 2 weeks.

How's your Alk & Ca? When my Alk was 13 which is quite high some of my LPS closed up and weren't as happy.

Alk and CA would also be helpful...those numbers sound pretty good but something is amiss. What kind of salt do you use?? RO/DI???

i DONT KNOW MY aLK/ cA, BUT iLL CHECK TODAY. i DO TOP OFF W RO Di, AND I BUT OCEAN WATER FROM LFS!!

I'll let you know my ALK & Ca when I check it. All my other corals are doing great!! it's just those two!!

I moved the moon brain closer to the light. My calcium was at 450 (abit high) but my alk was just below the normal line so low, I added buffer, Ill try to raise it!!

using ocean water from a local vender is risky, water is usually collected closer to shore then neccessary and there is a possibility that where your water comes from there r pollutants. also, your water levels look good but nitrates should be present in your system 5-15ppm is a healthy level, there is such thing as 2 clean of a system
