I currently have a 55 gal. established tank for about 3 years now. I have about 60 lbs. of live rock & about 1.5" of crushed coral for the base, no fish just corals. I now have a Seaclone 150 skimmer, Cascade 1000 filter system and 2 powerheads. I am wondering if this is a good setup or more of a lower end setup. I am getting a film on the top of the water and they told me that the protien skimmer is not enough. I am not looking at spending tons of money on this but I would like to get a good reliable setup. I would like someday go with a 75 or a 90 gal. and what I would get now I would like to be able to work on that setup. Could use some input on what people are running on there setup. Thanks.
