need help with algae

I was wondering if someone can help me identify an algae that looks pink in hue and primarily on my tank glass. It used to be housed primarily in the back of my tank but is now spread to the front of my tank. Can anyone tell me why it has spread to the front of my tank and how do I get rid of it from the front of mt tank, scrape it? Thanks for any input!

Coralline????? look up coralline algae.....is it hard? is it bushy? what is the texture/shape etcc....its likely coralline or some kind of sponge...or could it be??!!!!!a beautiful variation of cyanobacteria????!!!probably not but do you have a pic or some kind of better description besides pink so someone can identify
