Need help with clam selection

I have a 54 Corner currently and i want ot have a clam.
Lighting will be 250W ( 170W actually) MH with 2x65W Actinics.
Could i keep this clam?

The tank itself is 22" deep i believe.
I would like ot be able to keep it on the sandbed if possible.. a bit of a stretch i know but is it possible?

im a little confused about your light. exactly what light do you have?

I have the odyssea metal halide but the ballast on it is not for optimal performance so it puts out only about 170W.. i might get ot replace it though.

if you want a crocea like you linked to, being down so low in the tank might not be the best idea. also keep in mind some of your tank mates, some fish and crabs that are listed as reef safe aren't exactly clam save.
