Need Help with DIY skimmer

I am trying to figure out what would be the best pump for my diy skimmer. The body is 10" in diameter by 16" tall. the neck is 4 " in diameter and the total hieght including whats in the collection cup is 7" tall . the over all height of the skimmer is 27" . I was plaining on using 2 sicce psk 2500 but the pumps are being to much of a pain in the butt so I am trying to figure out what other pump I could us on it. Any help would be great

I'd give some serious thought to one of the new DC controllable skimmer pumps. The neck and pump need to be matched pretty close for optimum performance.

There are some charts that show optimum neck size for different amounts of air. Just did a quick search, 60-70 lph per sq in of neck diameter.
