So I am ready to stock up my 60 Cube. Its been up and running for 4 months now. Everything has been stable after a 4 week ghost feeding cycle. I transferred my Ocellaris Clown and and Pseudochromis Diadema from my nano. I transferred a few corals as well which are all doing excellent and enjoying the extra space.
The set up
60 Cube
30 lbs of dry rock
60 lbs caribsea live(ish) sand.
Metal halide light
Algae scrubber off the overflow designed for 1.5 cubes/day
Coralife super skimmer
Fish Wish List:
Copper Banded Butterfly
Heniochus Diphreutes (Banner Fish)
Stonogobiops Yasha (Yasha Shrimp Goby)
And one other large round reef safe fish undetermined.
My wife loves tangs but I "˜m not thrilled with the idea of keeping a tang for 2 years then have to trade him in as he has outgrown the tank.
Also my rock work is designed to provide a ton of swimming space caves and over hangs so swimming fish will be happy.
What are some good fish selections that are large round fish like a tang. I would love something unique and on the more rare side.
I have a 20 Gallon QT tank set up and cycled. I am considering getting the copper band first. There is one at a lfs that has been there for 3 weeks. It's eating Mysis and is very healthy looking. My concern is that my tank is sterile being that it has only dry rock and never seeded with live rock.
Let me know your thoughts on adding a CBB now. Also what are some rare unique fish to add to the tank that are colorful round fish like Tangs.
