Need Help with GEO CA Reactor

Okay so this message is more for geo I just dont know how to get ahold of him.

I have a geo 818 ca reactor, I recently took it apart for cleaning and hooked it back up.


But now it is leaking around the lid on the top of it. Did I loose a O-ring or what should I do.

you should be able to see a oring at the top that sits in a groove take it out and clean the oring and groove put some silicone grease(place like ACE hardware has it) on the o-ring tighten the screws opposite each other

don't over tighten the screws just so it smashes the oring evenly

it is leaking from the top of the lid where there is pvc pipe going into the lid.

I guess it is a coupler that screws down to the lid, the water is leaking out of that spot

Sorry I just dont know what all the different pieces are called

Unscrew the PVC connector and look to see if o-ring is still in place. You could probably pick one up at lowes for under $1.

can you post a pick? if it is leaking from the union there should be a o-ring in there.. the pvc is glued in to the lid with weldon #40

Yep you guys are right I see the groove on the union where the o-ring goes.
